Turkish occupation shells Tal Tamer power substation, causing blackout in the town

The Turkish occupation on Friday targeted the electrical substation in Tal Tamer town in Hasakah, causing it to go out of service.

According to  Anwar Al-Okla, Director General of Hasakah Electricity Company, the Turkish occupation shelled Tal Tamer electrical substation 20/66 KV, causing black out in the town and its vicinity.

The attack is the second within a week after the one that targeted the power line 66 KV in Oum Al-Keif-Tal Jou’a-Tal Karbeet which supplies Tal Tamer electrical substation with electricity, he said, adding that the attack caused the substation to go out of service.

Al-Okla pointed out that technical workshops are working to fix the damage as soon as possible.

The Electricity Company in Hasakah has repaired the power lines damaged by the Turkish occupation shelling on Tal Tamer town last week.
