Good talks can shape good agreement in Vienna, says Iran parliament speaker

Tehran, Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf while touching on Iran’s ongoing talks with the Group 4+1 (Russia, China, France and Britain plus Germany) said that good negotiations can lead to a good agreement, IRNA reported.

“It is important that within the framework of JCPOA Iran will gain economic benefits, too, so let us all hand in hand work for termination of sanctions,” Qalibaf said while speaking for Iran’s ambassadors in regional countries.

He underscored that termination of sanctions is directly related to the ambassadors and must be pursued at the diplomatic scene at the forefront.

“A good agreement is the one that ensures the economic benefits of the JCPOA,” Qalibaf added.

“I believe even under the prevailing conditions and amid the existence of the sanctions, keeping in mind our capabilities inside the country we must be able to plan a five-year plan in which two to three percent economic growth in a stable economy will be achieved, irrespective of the economic instability that affects the people’s lives,” he opined.

Iran’s top negotiator Ali Bagheri Kani had yesterday expressed satisfaction that the negotiating sides had reached an agreement on negotiable issues, since from the beginning there was difference of opinion between them in this field.

It also seems like the negotiations process have ever since yesterday somehow distanced from the anti-Iranian pressure and the other side is now focusing on Iran’s proposals.
