Iranian Armed Forces Ready to Respond to Enemies

Chief of  Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, Major General Mohammad Baqeri, affirmed today Tuesday that Iran does not intend to attack anyone at the strategic level, but is ready on the operational and tactical levels to respond firmly and to quickly attack its enemies.

Fars news agency quoted Baqeri stating that the embargo and pressure on Iran have consolidated self-reliance and self-confidence in the Iranian people who have become more determined to exert efforts in order to defend their country.

Baqeri explained that Iran’s strategies and goals in the field of deterrence are not just a missile industry, but are based on thought, doctrine, policies, methods and smart national tactics that are proportional to the level and type of threat. The Iranian official pointed out that the defense industry in his country has reached a point of growth, advancement and deterrence that no force would dare to launch an aggression on Iran.

Baqeri stated that the Iranian forces, despite their reliance on the deterrence strategy, never underestimate the slightest threats in the strategic field, as the Iranian armed forces have readiness and the utmost vigilance to stand up to the enemies.

Baqeri lately warned Iran enemies not to take any provocative steps in the Gulf and Oman Sea, reiterating that his country would respond to any adventure in this respect.
