On December 13th, dozens of Palestinians participated in a solidarity stand in the town of Bethlehem in the West Bank in support of Palestinian prisoners in Israeli occupation detention.
Wafa Agency stated that the Prisoners Affairs Authority organized the stand in front of the Red Cross office in Bethlehem.
The protesters raised the Palestinian flag and pictures of prisoners in the occupation prisons and called on the international community and human rights organizations to halt the Israeli occupation’s violations against the prisoners and to take urgent action to save their lives.
About 5,000 Palestinian prisoners inside Israeli jails face harsh detention conditions, including about 600 prisoners who need urgent medical intervention.
