US occupation forces carry out airdrop in Deir Ezzor, kidnap several civilians

The US occupation forces have carried out an airdrop in Al-Shuhail town in Deir Ezzor eastern countryside and kidnapped a number of civilians.

According to local sources, the US occupation helicopters, with the help of the US-backed SDF militia, carried out an airdrop on some houses in Al-Shuhail town. The US forces and the SDF militia stormed the houses, kidnapped a number of civilians and took them to an unknown destination, the sources said.

The occupation forces destroyed the houses they attacked, the sources added.

The US occupation forces carried out similar airdrops during the past years. These airdrops were proved later to be a cover for transferring ISIS terrorists from the countryside of Hasaka and Deir Ezzor to the US military bases in Syria and Iraq and for kidnapping civilians with the aim of forcing them to cooperate with the occupation.
