The occupation announces a plan to establish 473 settlement units in occupied Jerusalem

Occupied Jerusalem (ST): The Israeli occupation authorities announced today a settlement plan to establish 473 settlement units in the town of Beit Safafa, southeast of occupied Jerusalem.

Wafa news agency reported that the new settlement outpost threatens to seize 38 dunums of Palestinian land in the town.

Last week, the occupation authorities announced plans to establish 3058 settlement units in the West Bank, 2,000 of them on Al-Masharef Mount in occupied Jerusalem, ignoring international resolutions that affirm the illegality of settlements in the occupied Palestinian territories and demand their cessation.
