Syria, Iran hold talks on cooperation in boosting virtual education in Syria

Minister of Education Darem Tabbaa on Saturday held talks with representatives of Iranian companies that specialize in the virtual laboratories industry.

Talks dealt with cooperation to serve the vocational and general education and to develop virtual education in Syria by using modern techniques and virtual laboratories.

Tabbaa stressed the ministry’s preparedness to coordinate with the concerned parties in the Iranian companies in order to benefit from their expertise in enhancing virtual education in Syria.

On his part, Hadi Jawaheri, member of the board of the Iranian Baraka Institution, said that several Iranian companies are interested in establishing both ordinary and virtual education laboratories, mainly in the fields of mechanics, building and chemistry in order to help students learn remotely.

 He clarified that with the help of the internet, students can conduct virtual exams, pointing out that virtual learning is important today in the light of the spread of corona pandemic.
