A martyr and two wounded in the explosion of a landmine left behind by (ISIS) terrorists in Salamiyah countryside

Hama (ST): A citizen was martyred and two others were injured when a landmine left behind by ISIS terrorists exploded in the vicinity of Wadi Al-Atheeb near Al-Seeb Dam in the eastern countryside of Hama.

A source in the governorate police told news reporter that the explosion occurred while a shepherd was grazing sheep in Wadi al-Atheeb area in the northern Salamiyah countryside, which is one of the most dangerous areas due to the intense spread of mines and explosive devices planted by armed terrorist organizations before they were driven out of the area.

In a similar statement, the director of Salamiyah National Hospital, Dr. Osama Melhem, stated that the two wounded people were suffering from serious injuries, and the hospital was providing them with the necessary care.

Terrorist organizations planted mines and explosive devices in their areas of spread between homes, roads and agricultural lands before they were driven out of those areas, with the aim of causing the greatest possible harm to civilians who returned to their liberated areas.
