Arab and foreign participations in the virtual exhibition within the “Love of a Pen” Festival

Various calligraphic works and decorative configurations by artists from Syria and Arab and foreign countries are hosted by the virtual exhibition that is held within the festival of “Love of a Pen” for Arabic calligraphy and decoration.

“In a statement to SANA, the plastic artist, Reem Qobtan, head of the House of Arabic Calligraphy and Arts Association, said, “This event is an integral part of the activities of the “Love of a Pen Festival” that was held last month by the Association. Outstanding artistic works were presented on the association’s official social media page to promote visual communication among peoples concerned with Arabic letter and its arts and to learn about their different ways of dealing with it.”

The virtual exhibition follows the two-week events of “Love of a Pen” festival  at the Abu Romanah Cultural Centre, in collaboration with the Association and the Damascus Culture Directorate, which included seminars, workshops and three exhibitions of Arabic calligraphy and decorations with a view to spreading the culture of these arts among the segments of society in Damascus.
