Patriarch Yazigi: The Arab world should remain united as one hand

Abu Dhabi, (ST) – The Patriarch of Antioch and All East for the Roman Orthodox, John X Yazigi, affirmed that the Arab world must remain one hand for the peace and security of humanity.

During a visit to the Syrian Embassy in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates and accompanied by Bishop Gregory Khoury, Patriarch Yazigi praised the steadfastness of the Syrian people in their homeland despite the difficulties and challenges.

He stressed that “the message of the Patriarchate is clear, and it is the message of love and steadfastness in the land and coexistence among all the people of the country.”

Patriarch Yazigi expressed his happiness at his presence at the embassy and the presence of some ambassadors of the brotherly Arab countries during the meeting.

For his part, the Chargé d’Affairs of the Syrian Embassy in Abu Dhabi, Ghassan Abbas, welcomed Patriarch Yazigi, hoping that his visit to the UAE would be a source of motivation and encouragement for the members of the community there.
