Corona kills more than 5 million 231 thousand people in the world

Capitals (ST): The Corona virus has killed more than 5 million 231 thousand people around the world since its outbreak began in December 2019, according to the latest statistics from the American World Meters website.

According to the website, the total number of corona infections around the world has so far reached 2,62,962,710, and the total number of deaths has reached 523,762 cases, while the total number of recoveries from infection has reached 237,420,848 cases.

 

The United States continues to lead the countries most affected by the virus in terms of infections and deaths, with 802,528 deaths out of 4,9385936 infections, followed by India with 469,056 deaths out of 345,955 cases, and Brazil third, with 614,681 deaths out of 2,2094,459 infections.
