Sabbagh to an Iranian parliamentary delegation: To continue developing bilateral cooperation relations to include all fields

Damascus (ST): People’s Assembly Speaker Hammouda Sabbagh affirmed the depth and strength of the deep-rooted and ever-renewing bilateral relations between Syria and Iran, which helped them face various challenges and schemes against them.

During his meeting with Ezzatullah Akbar Talarbishti, Chairman of the Industrial Committee, and Mohammad Reza Pour Ibrahimi, Head of the Economic Committee of the Iranian Islamic Consultative Assembly, and the accompanying delegation, Sabbagh indicated the importance of continuing to work to develop and expand relations between the two countries to include all levels, pointing to the need to exchange experiences in the parliamentary and economic fields for the benefit of the Syrian and Iranian peoples.

 

Sabbagh praised Iran’s supportive stances for Syria, its army and people, especially in its war against terrorism and its steadfastness, highlighting the huge sacrifices it made in order to defeat terrorism, stressing that victory will be an ally of the resistance axis in light of the cohesion, cooperation and steadfastness that it embodies.

In turn, Talarbishti pointed to the need to increase cooperation between the two sides, especially in the industrial and economic field, and activate the exchange of exports, stressing the Iranian side’s full readiness to help and exchange experiences to develop Syrian industries, support imports from them, and establish production lines inside Syria, which increases its exports to many countries.
