Al-Miqdad: Syria will confront the unjust terror and economic war imposed on it

DAMASCUS, Nov. 30, (ST)-The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Faisal Al-Miqdad participated in the 45th ministerial meeting of the Group of 77 and China, which was   held virtually on Tuesday in New York. 
 
The minister said-  during the meeting- that Syria will confront the unjust terrorist and economic war being imposed on it, and all forms of occupation and aggression as well as the US, Turkish and Israeli military and economic terrorism and their violations of the provisions of international law.
 
He affirmed that Syria is determined to restore all its occupied lands and exercise its constitutional right to protect its citizens and preserve its land by all legitimate means guaranteed by international law, clarifying the importance of solidarity and cooperation within the Group of 77 and China in the interest of “our countries and in support the Syrian State’s efforts of reconstruction and the return to the track of development and prosperity,” according to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA).
 
Later, the participating ministers issued a declaration that called  for the immediate and complete withdrawal of Israel from the occupied Arab lands, including the occupied Syrian Golan.
 
The declaration condemned decisions and actions that changed the Golan’s demographic feature, considering them as null and void and having  no legal effect.
 
It in addition called for rejecting the unilateral coercive measures imposed on Syria, which undermine its efforts to achieve development and prosperity.
