The competent authorities find weapons and ammunition left behind by terrorists in Homs countryside

Homs, (ST) –  The competent authorities found quantities of weapons and ammunition left behind by terrorist organizations, which were hidden in an old style  Arab house in the northern countryside of Homs.

A source in the competent authorities in Homs told a SANA reporter that the seized items included RPGs, hand grenades, automatic rifles, snipers, military jeeps, two mortar launchers, in addition to communication devices, medium machine guns, and various ammunition.

During the period of their presence in Homs, the terrorist organizations converted a number of homes, schools, and facilities into headquarters and warehouses for weapons and ammunition, in an attempt to prolong their survival and control.
