The Palestinian Prisoners and Released Affairs Authority warned today of the deteriorating health condition of the prisoner Muhammad Al-Ardah.
In a statement today, reported by Wafa Agency, the commission stated that the occupation forces are holding the prisoner in a solitary cell in the “Ashkelon” detention center, amid conditions that lack the minimum necessities of life in addition to the practice of psychological and physical torture. The statement noted that his health is deteriorating and he suffers from severe pain in his back and that he needs x-rays to diagnose his condition properly, while the occupation authorities refuse to provide him with appropriate treatment.
The 39-year-old prisoner Al-Ardah, who has been detained since 2002, is one of the six prisoners who seized their freedom on the sixth of last September through a tunnel dug from their cell outside the Gilboa detention camp, and the Israeli occupation re-arrested them.
