Sagatelian: Developing parliamentary relations between Syria and Armenia

On November 22nd, the vice speaker of the Parliament of Armenia Ishkhan Sagatelian said Syria was able to overcome the tribunals and difficulties thanks to its leadership and the will of its people

Sagatelian referred to the Turkish role in destabilizing  the region by violating the unity and sovereignty of Syria’s territory. 

During his meeting with Syria’s ambassador to Armenia Mohammad Haj Ibrahim, Sagatelian expressed his readiness to make every effort to develop parliamentary relations between the two friendly countries to a new qualitative level . 

 

Sagatelian confirmed the importance of parliamentary diplomacy and cooperation between Armenia and Syria in international forums

Sagatelian expressed his readiness to support the implementation of initiatives aimed to strengthen bilateral relations in various fields.

For his part, Ambassador Haj Ibrahim stressed the importance of developing parliamentary and economic relations between the two countries. 

During the meeting, members of the Syrian-Armenian Friendship Society referred to the steps to deepen economic ties, especially increase their trade exchange.
