The (Made in Syria) Festival, which is held in the gymnasium in the town of Khan Arnaba in Quneitra, is witnessing a great turnout of visitors .
The supervisor of the Festival Muhammad Omar stated that the Chambers of Industry in Damascus and its countryside, and the Chambers of Industry and Commerce of Quneitra are offering discounts and distributing coupons worth 10,000 pounds for the visitors, in addition to discounts from all participating companies.
The director of the Quneitra industry directorate, Nasr El-Din Al-Halabi, said that the festival is an opportunity for families to purchase their needs of winter clothes, foodstuffs, and shoes at reduced prices.
The Secretary of the Quneitra Chamber of Industry and Commerce Ahmed Al-Saeed indicated that the discounts and selling at production cost left a positive feeling with visitors, which encouraged citizens to visit the festival.
Muhammad Al-Amer, the owner of stores selling winter shoes, said that selling at cost increased the sales movement, which encouraged him to participate in upcoming festivals.
Salem Habbab, owner of a clothing manufacturing company, pointed out that he came from the city of Aleppo to participate in the festival, where they sell their products at discounts of about 25 percent compared to the markets’ prices.
Hamad Wahba stressed during his visit to the market that the festival contributes to supporting the family.
The activities of the “Made in Syria” festival, in its 128th session, was launched with the participation of about 100 national companies in the gymnasium in the town of Khan Arnabain Quneitra, on November 17th and will last for 10 days.
