Settlement process in Deir Ezzor continues

The Syrian province of Deir Ezzor continues for the sixth consecutive day to witness an all-out settlement process that involves wanted civilians and military service deserters who find in this process an opportunity to settle their legal status.

Sheikh Abdullah Al-Dandal form the Al-Akeedat tribe told SANA reporter that this comprehensive process provides all misled persons in Deir Ezzor with an opportunity to return to normal life under the state’s umbrella. He pointed out that the dignitaries of clans and tribes have communicated with misled citizens in many areas, controlled by the US-backed SDF militia in the Syrian Al-Jazira region, and urged them to join the settlement process.

On his part, Ahmad Al-Fayed, one of the dignitaries of the Al-Bakkara tribe, said the turnout of the citizens who came seeking to settle their legal status indicates these citizens’ support for their army and state and confirms their adherence to Syria’s sovereignty and unity.

 One of the persons, who settled their legal status, said that he has been residing in Raqqa province for 10 years, but when he heard about the settlement process in Deir Ezzor he came to join it in preparation for doing his military service within the ranks of the Syrian Arab Army.
