Al-Miqdad discusses by phone with Abdullahian bilateral relations and developments in the region

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Dr. Faisal Al-Miqdad, made a phone call today with Iranian Foreign Minister Hussein Amir Abdullahian, during which he discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to develop them.

During the call,  Minister Al-Miqdad also discussed the economic and tourism cooperation between the two countries, in addition to developments in the region and regional and international issues of common interest.

During the call, Minister Al-Miqdad conveyed the greetings of President Bashar al-Assad to Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi.

 

Minister Al-Miqdad expressed his satisfaction that his Iranian counterpart, Amir Abdullahian, had recovered after being quarantined recently due to being infected with the Coronavirus.

In turn, Minister Abdullahian invited Minister Al-Miqdad to visit Tehran to follow up the exchange of consultations on issues of concern to the two brotherly countries.
