Syria, Serbia discuss the ways of enhancing bilateral cooperation

DAMASCUS, Nov 17 (ST)- The Syrian-Serbian Friendship Committee at the People’s Assembly [Parliament] reviewed on Wednesday with the Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia in Damascus, Radovan Stojanovic, the ways of enhancing relations between the two countries.
 
Chairman of the Committee Khaled al-Attiyah referred to to the historical relations between the two friendly countries and peoples, asserting the need to enhance these relations in  parliamentary, economic, scientific and cultural fields, according to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA).
 
Al-Attiyah highly appreciated the stances of the Republic of Serbia towards Syria and its people and keeping its embassy open during the years of the unjust war on Syria.
 
Number of committee’s members spoke about the importance of the new investment law and its advantages in facilitating the investment and attracting the largest number of investors, particularly from friendly countries.
 
They expressed the hope to enhance economic and scientific cooperation between the two countries.
