Russian Aids for Palestinians in Syria

LATTAKIA,(ST)_ Two Russian aid planes carrying 70 tons of humanitarian aid provided by the Russian  government and people to the Palestinians living in Syria arrived in al-Basel airport yesterday.

The two planes were received  at the airport by , Russian Deputy Consul in Syria Vasily Kartozov , the  Second Secretary of the Palestinian  Embassy  and head of the Palestinian refugees division in Lattakia.

In a statement, the Palestinian official  thanked the Russian government and people, pointing out that this is not  stranger to Russia because it is a friend of the Palestinian people and other peoples,  adding that  Russia is working to help world  peoples to get their freedom and develop  their economy.

For his part, Bogdanov Sergey ,official at the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry explained  that the aid is provided to the Palestinian people, who are always  supported by Russia. 

It is noteworthy that young Syrian youths  members  of the Revolutionary Youth Union branch in Lattakia unloaded the  cargo planes in cars to reach intended destination. 

However,  two humanitarian aid planes arrived at al-Base airport l in Latakia on June 26 ,carrying 25 tons of humanitarian aid to the Syrian people handed over to the Syrian Red Crescent branch in the province.
