The Turkish regime arrests three opponents of Erdogan

On November 14th, the Turkish regime arrested three people on the pretext of their association with the dissident residing in the United States, FethullahGulen.

The head of the regime, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, accusesGulen of being behind the attempted coup in the country in 2016.

“The security forces arrested three people while they were trying to flee to Greece through Turkey’s northwestern border,” the Anatolia News Agency quoted the Turkish regime’s Defense Ministry as saying in a statement.

It is noteworthy that the Erdogan regime has launched severe repression campaigns since the coup attempt with the aim of pursuing its opponents inside the country, as it arrested and dismissed hundreds of thousands of civilians and military people.
