Syrian army checkpoint blocks US convoy from entering Qameshli city

HASAKAH, (ST)_A checkpoint affiliated to the Syrian Army intercepted on Thursday a convoy of armored vehicles belonging to the US occupation forces at al-Wafaa square and prevented it from entering Qamishli city in Hasakah.
 
According to local sources, five armored vehicles belonging to the US occupation forces tried to enter Qamishli city through al-Wafaa square, but they were intercepted by Syrian soldiers at Rashou checkpoint, which is located in the southwestern side of the city, forcing them to return from where they came.
 
Residents of Hasakah countryside, supported by the army have repeatedly blocked US occupation convoys while they were trying to move in nearby areas.
