President Al-Assad issues a law exempting imported raw materials as inputs to the local industry from customs duties and import taxes

In support of the national industry and pushing the wheel of industrial production forward, President Bashar Al-Assad issued on Wednesday a law exempting imported raw materials as inputs to the local industry and subject to a 1% customs fee from the customs duties specified in the customs tariff schedule, as well as exempting them from taxes and other fees imposed on import.
