Egyptian politician describes the UAE Foreign Minister’s visit to Syria as a “positive step”

CAIRO,(ST)_Deputy Chairman of the “Human Rights and Citizenship” Party in Egypt Sayyed Al-Asyouti has described the UAE Foreign Minister’s visit to Syria on Tuesday as a “positive step”.

He told the correspondent of the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) in Cairo that Arab countries must adopt serious steps towards the restoration of relations with Syria.

“Syria has achieved victory over the conspiracy and unveiled the evil plots that were secretly prepared,” Al-Asyouti said, calling on the free people of world to break the unjust economic siege being imposed on Syria by the United States and its allies.

He called for the evacuation of the US and Turkish forces from the Syrian territories, stressing that these forces loot the Syrian people’s resources and implement Zionist plots.

“Syria has remained steadfast in confronting the US-Zionist conspiracy that lasted for more than 10 years, and now it announces its victory,” Al-Asyouti concluded.
