Pro-Palestine activists compel Israeli Ambassador to leave a debate forum in London

Israeli Ambassador to the UK Tzipi Hotovely was compelled on Tuesday to leave a debate forum in London School of Economics under heavy security measures because of a pro-Palestine demonstration that rejected the Israeli aggressive and settlement expansion policies in the occupied Palestinian territories.

British media outlets reported that authorities were forced to evacuate Hotovely under heavy security from an event at the London School of Economics after pro-Palestine demonstrators chanted “Aren’t you ashamed” to express their condemnation of her government’s racist and aggressive policy towards the Palestinians.

 The demonstrators expressed their opposition to the presence of the Israeli ambassador in this event, blaming the college administration for “giving a platform for racism, colonialism and oppression against the Palestinians.
