450.000 citizens are fully vaccinated against Covid-19 in Syria

DAMASCUS ,(ST)_The number of citizens who are fully vaccinated against Covid-19 in Syria hit nearly 450,000, according to the Director of Health Care Department at the Ministry of Health, Dr. Razan Tarabishi.

Dr. Tarabishi added that about 650.000 citizens received the first dose of the vaccine.

In a statement to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), he affirmed the importance of adhering to all the required preventive measures, such as wearing mask and keeping space between yourself and others.

“ Receiving the “free and safe” vaccine, is the only way to preserve the safety and health of citizens,” Dr. Tarabishi added.

The Ministry of Health has ensured more than 967 centers and hospitals, in addition to 200 mobile teams in villages and areas where there are no health centers in provinces to vaccine the citizens.
