Syria, Iran sign executive program for scientific and cultural cooperation

TEHRAN, (ST)_An executive program for scientific and cultural cooperation was signed on Monday by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Iranian Ministry of Science, Research and Technology. 
 
According to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), the program aims to enhance and support Scholarships for Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Masters Students to continue their study in Syrian and Iranian universities. 
 
The program, which was signed by the Syrian  Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Bassam Ibrahim and the Iranian Minister of Science, Research and Technology Mohammad Ali Zelfi, includes holding conferences and workshops, exchanging experiences and establishing joint research centers and Technology park. 
 
The two minister in addition held talks on the ways of enhancing scientific and cultural cooperation between Syria and Iran.
