Zakharova calls on Washington to take practical steps to normalize relations with Russia
Moscow (ST): Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova called on the United States to take specific practical steps to normalize bilateral relations with Russia.
“If the Americans want to move forward to any normal future of bilateral relations, they must take some practical steps to liberate the situation that they themselves led to a dead end,” Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said in a television program yesterday evening.
The Russian-American relations have deteriorated in recent years due to the difference in their attitudes towards resolving international issues, in addition to the US policy of hegemony and interference in the affairs of other countries, and its failure to abide by international law, which Russia strongly opposes.
