Syria condemns today’s terrorist attack on Iraqi PM

DAMASCUS, (ST)_Syria has strongly condemned the terrorist attack that targeted the Iraqi Prime Minister, reiterating its stance against terrorism, according to an official source at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates. 
 
The source said on Sunday: “The Arab Republic strongly condemns the terrorist attack that targeted Mustafa Al-Kadhimi, the Iraqi Premier.” 
 
It added that Syria is against terrorism and wishes the friendly Iraqi people peace, stability and prosperity.  
 
Al-Kadhimi has survived an assassination attempt,  after 3 exploding drones targeted the premier’s residence in Baghdad early on Sunday.
The Iraqi security forces downed 2 drones.
