Al-Mikdad opens a consular office in Daraa

DARAA, (ST)_ The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Faisal Al-Miqdad on Wednesday opened a consular office in Daraa province.
 
He told reporters that the consular office will offer the best services to the residents in the province and will help them save money, time and effort. 
 
“The office will perform the transactions of the residents as soon as possible ,” the minister said, asserting that the state spares no efforts  to overcome the difficulties and obstacles that affected various economic and service aspects as a result of the terrorist war.
 
The residents expressed satisfaction over the opening of the consular office, as they can get certified documents from several ministries without going to Damascus. 
 
The process of settling the legal status of the gunmen, wanted persons and military service deserters, which came into force on the 1st of September,  completed on the 25th of October in all areas of Daraa’ countryside in accordance with the settlement agreement proposed by the Syrian state to restore security and stability to Daraa province.
