Czech parliamentarian: Erdogan’s regime must be deterred from committing new war crimes in Syria

Prague (ST): Member of the European Parliament from the Czech Freedom and Direct Democracy Movement, Dr. Ivan David, called for action to deter the Turkish regime from committing new war crimes in Syria.

In a comment today, David indicated that Erdogan’s regime is preparing to carry out a new aggression against Syria, pointing out that the Identity and Democracy Bloc to which his movement belongs in Parliament will again propose a ban on arms exports to Turkey and the imposition of economic sanctions on Erdogan’s regime.

David explained that Erdogan’s recent meetings with Western officials in Rome on the sidelines of the G20 summit reflected Western support for the “fascist regime ruling in Turkey,” noting that this support shows the West’s blindness and double standards in dealing with international issues.
