Israeli-made weapons found in the countryside of Damascus and Quneitra

During a security operation based on accurate information, authorities in cooperation with locals, found a quantity of Israeli-made weapons, ammunitions, drugs and medicines, left behind by terrorists in the countryside of Damascus and Quneitra.

A source from the concerned authorities told SANA reporter that an amount of highly-explosive C4 substance was found in cooperation with locals in Kanaker town in Damascus countryside.

In addition, the source said, western-made weapons, including PKC machine guns, RPGs, wireless communication devices, individual mines and Israeli-made anti-tank mines, left behind by terrorist organizations, were also found in Bareqah village in Quneitra province.

A quantity of drugs and medicines, some of which are Israeli-made, were also found in the northern countryside of Quneitra, the source added, pointing out that these materials had been used by terrorist groups before they were defeated by the Syrian army and expelled from the area.
