Syria returns to its regional and international position, says Czech academy

Prague, (ST) – Czech academic and journalist Lenka Hrabalova affirmed that Syria has begun to return to its regional and international status.

“Syria witnesses a recovery in many sectors despite the many challenges it is confronting, including the unilateral coercive Western measures imposed on it”, she said.

 Hrabalova said in a lecture she gave yesterday evening at the Faculty of Natural Sciences of the University of Olomouc under the title “Syria comes back to life” that, Syria characterized by its ancient heritage and civilization, which are shown by the ruins of Palmyra, the castle of Al-Husn, and many other archaeological sites on its lands.

She talked about her visit to Syria last September, and what she observed like the generosity of the Syrian citizens, who affirmed during their meetings with her that they are committed to their homeland and carry hope for the future of this country.
