Cairo, (ST) – The Community Foundation for Future Men Pioneers and women Pioneers in Egypt held a symposium entitled “The October War of Victory and Repercussions, Egypt and Syria for Cooperation and a Common Destiny.”
The symposium, which was headed by Dr. Jamal Zahran, the General Coordinator of the Arab and Islamic Gathering to Support the Resistance, reiterated his affirmation to stand by Syria in the face of what it has confronted, especially the unilateral coercive measures imposed by the United States and Western countries on the Syrian people. He stressed the need to enhance Egyptian-Syrian relations in various fields.
Regarding the October Liberation War, Zahran said that, “there is an Arab dimension in the October Liberation War, and without the Arab will, we would not have crossed the war that witnessed major military achievements.” He affirmed that, the Zionist entity “is a fragile entity that can be eliminated.”
In turn, the head of the Syrian diplomatic mission in Egypt, Dr. Bassam Darwish, stressed the importance of keeping the spark of victory in the October Liberation War alive and burning in the minds of the younger generation. He said that, there is cooperation between the Egyptian and Syrian armies to achieve victory over the Israeli enemy.
Sahar Abbas, the Secretary-General of the Community Foundation for Future Pioneers and Pioneers, said that, “the October liberation war is a pride for all of us.”
