Dozens of Palestinians injured as a result of the occupation’s suppression of a demonstration in Kafr Qaddoum
Occupied Jerusalem (ST): Dozens of Palestinians were injured today as the Israeli occupation forces suppressed the weekly anti-settlement demonstration in Kafr Qaddum and demanded the opening of the village street, which was closed for more than 17 years, east of Qalqilya in the West Bank.
The coordinator of the popular resistance in Kafr Qaddoum, Murad Shteiwi, told Wafa that the occupation forces stormed the village and fired bullets and poisonous gas canisters at the participants in the demonstration, injuring two people and suffocating dozens.
The village of Kafr Qaddoum witnesses continuous demonstrations against the occupation on Friday and Saturday, which have become part of the public life in the village, whose lands were devoured by the apartheid wall and settlements.
