Iraq: Leader of the terrorist organization (ISIS) arrested

Baghdad (ST):  Iraqi forces arrested today a leader of the terrorist organization “ISIS” in Diyala Governorate, in the northeast of the country.

 

Alsumaria News quoted the Security Media Cell as saying in a statement, “Intelligence forces managed to arrest the special coordinator with the so-called military official of the terrorist organization “ISIS” in the village of Al-Jagat in Hamrin district in Diyala governorate, and he is wanted by the judiciary according to an arrest warrant in accordance with the provisions of Article 4 of terrorism law. 

Yesterday, Iraqi forces arrested two terrorists during a security operation in the capital, Baghdad.
