Hasakah (ST): The Public Establishment for Drinking Water in Hasakeh has received four desalination plants in order to install them and put them into service in the near future.

In a statement to news reporter, the Director-General of the Foundation, Engineer Mahmoud Okla, stated that the stations would be installed in four locations: Al-Waha Gardens, Al-Balbul, Al-Thawra, and in the Meridian neighborhood in the center of the city.

He explained that the production of one station is 10 cubic meters per hour, at a rate of 500 cubic meters per day, for the four stations whose importance lies in securing drinking water for the city’s residents in emergencies and cutting water by the Turkish occupier, indicating that the stations will be installed by an Iranian team during the coming period.

The city of Hasakeh and its western countryside suffered during the summer months, as the Turkish occupier and its mercenaries cut off drinking water and stopped pumping from the Allouk station.
