Palestinian Foreign Ministry calls for obligating occupation to implement UN resolutions

The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs renewed its call on the international community to compel the Israeli occupation to comply with the rules of international law and United Nations resolutions on the Palestinian issue, foremost of which is Resolution 2334, which affirms the illegality of settlements and calls for its cessation.

The occupation continues its crimes against the Palestinian people, their land and their sanctities, the most recent of which is its demolition of the Yusufiya cemetery, changing the names of streets in occupied Jerusalem, demolishing a commercial facility in Jenin, handing over notices of demolition of homes and facilities in the northern Jordan Valley, Wafa News Agency quoted the ministry as saying in a statement today, the occupation also continues its  incursions into Al-Aqsa Mosque and other violations that rise to the level of war crimes and crimes against humanity.

The Palestinian Foreign Ministry warned of the dangers of the international community being content with statements of condemnation because they constitute a green light for the occupation to persist in its crimes against the Palestinians.
