Occupied Al-Quds, (ST) – Dozens of Palestinians participated in a solidarity stand in the city of Hebron in the West Bank on Wednesday in support of Palestinian prisoners who are on hunger strike in Israeli occupation jails.
They called the international community to urgently intervene to save the lives of Palestinian prisoners in Israeli occupation prisons.
Wafa News Agency reported that, the participants in the stand that organized by the Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners Affairs Authority and the Palestinian Prisoners Club in front of the Red Cross office in Hebron raised pictures of the hunger strikers. They stressed the need to continue supporting the prisoners and solidarity with them in light of the violations and brutal practices they are subjected to from the occupation amid deliberate medical neglect.
Six Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails continue their hunger strike in protest of its continued crimes against the prisoners, amid the deterioration of their health conditions and the escalating dangers threatening their lives.
About 5,000 Palestinian prisoners inside the Israeli occupation prisons face harsh detention conditions, including about 600 prisoners who need urgent medical intervention.
