In The Loving Memory of Our Heroes

The hero martyr, Lieutenant Jamal Ismail Awad, was born in 1987 in the village of Al-Rabeaa, Hama western countryside.

Julia, the sister of the martyr, talked about her brother’s heroism. She narrated with pride the story of the martyr who refused to give up his love for his homeland, but sacrificed himself in defense of Syria.

On the 4th of February, 2012, Jamal was taking the bus to his job in Deir Ezzor, when the terrorists stopped the bus and started to shoot at the passengers. Jamal was wounded, but, despite his injuries, he decided to fight to the end. He threw two bombs at the terrorists, killing 12 of them before he was martyred.
