Palestinian Prisoners Affairs Authority warns of the deteriorating health of Ibrahim Ghunaimat

The Palestinian Prisoners and Released Affairs Authority has warned of the deterioration of the health status of prisoner Ibrahim Ghunaimat as a result of the arbitrary practices of the Israeli occupation against him, foremost of which is deliberate medical negligence.

Wafa news agency quoted the authority as saying in a statement today that the 45-year-old prisoner  suffers from a weak heart muscle and urgently needs to be transferred to the hospital, while the occupation authorities refuse to provide him with the necessary treatment.

About 5,000 Palestinian prisoners are facing harsh detention conditions, including 600 prisoners who need urgent medical intervention.
