Czech Professor Vierra Tidlitova has stressed that Damascus is an important crossroads of cultures and religions and it is a legendary city where charming houses and palaces indicate unique architecture.

In a report published by the Czech “Nova Orientalia” about her visit to Syria, the professor talked about the beauty of the streets and houses of old Damascus and of Qaseyoun Mountain. She also talked about the hospitality of the Syrians, pointing out that Damascus was built for adventure stories and legendary tales.
