With the participation of more than 80 local and international media and advertising institutions, the activities of the third Syrian International Exhibition for Media, Advertising and Printing “Media Expo Syria 2021” were launched on Wednesday on the fairgrounds of the exhibition city in Damascus.
The exhibition, which is organized by Mashhadani International Group for Exhibitions and Conferences, includes many media and advertising institutions.
Deputy Minister of Information Ahmed Dawa confirmed that the exhibition constitutes an opportunity for the participating media and advertising outlets to exchange ideas and opinions to benefit from that in conveying a national message and addressing public opinion in a different way. He noted the diversity of the participating parties in the exhibition for this season, which included new areas that would develop the media and ensure all its tools at least within the local level.
Dawa asserted that holding exhibitions at this time indicates the recovery of economy in Syria thanks to the victories of the Syrian Arab Army.
In turn, the General Manager of the group, Khalaf Mashhadani, pointed out that this exhibition was scheduled to be held last year 2020, but it was postponed due to the Corona pandemic. The most prominent disciplines participating in it are advertising agencies, digital marketing, printing services and design of all kinds.
Mashhadani expressed his appreciation to the media organizations and institutions that participated in the exhibition under the slogan “Challenge”, overcoming all existing commercial and industrial difficulties, whether at the local or international levels, such as Jordan, Lebanon, Iraq and Russia.
Eng. Ayman Al-Akhras, Director General of the Arab Advertising Agency, highlighted the importance of holding such exhibitions specialized in all fields working in advertising and media. He noted that the number of companies and technologies required in the field of media has recently increased noticeably.
Svetlana Miro from the Russian Cultural Center said that the center’s participation in the exhibition focuses on introducing cultural publications for children and students over the age of 18 to teach the Russian language, as well as the latest books translated from Russian into Arabic.
Maher Hossam El-Din, General Manager of Abjad for Technology Solutions, said: We offer our software services in an optimal way for traders, investors and individuals so that we are a gateway to investment. The company has designed a comprehensive media guidebook “The Blue Guide” that includes all companies and businessmen in Syria and all the information and data required about them.
Moaz Al-Rijal from one of the printing and packaging companies pointed out that their participation in the exhibition comes in the context of strengthening their presence in the markets, especially that the exhibition includes a number of companies working in this field, which allows the exchange of experiences.
The exhibition includes delivering lectures on the importance of e-marketing, current challenges, contemporary plastic art, types of and techniques of printing, and education in Russia.
