Damascus, ST) – The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Dr. Ayman Sousan, affirmed that, Syria will continue to combat terrorism on its lands until its final elimination. He pointed out that the terrorist bombing that targeted a military overnight bus at the President Bridge in Damascus today comes as an expression of despair due to the defeat of the conspiracy scheme and the defeat of terrorism in Syria.
In a telephone conversation with the Syrian Al-Ekhbariya channel, Sousan said that, choosing a crowded area to carry out this cowardly terrorist bombing at the time when citizens went to their work confirms the criminal nature of these killers whose aim is to attain the largest number of victims among innocent citizens. He said that such terrorist crimes will not hinder efforts to consolidate stability and security in all parts of Syria.
Sousan pointed out that the primary responsibility for this crime falls on the shoulders of those who plotted against Syria led by the Zionist entity, because this action was primarily to serve “Israel” and its agenda in the region.
Sousan pointed out that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates and its diplomatic missions abroad work to capitalize on the victories achieved by the Syrian Arab Army against terrorism. He indicated that many countries began to see the picture clearly and that what was planned for Syria failed, and therefore they turned to adopting another approach towards Syria by returning to the restoration of relationships with it, and this is very important issue.
Sousan stressed that, the restoring and improving the Arab situation is in the interest not only of Syria but for all Arab countries because it is the only way to ensure the safety and stability of these countries in the face of the schemes that target them, whether from a close enemy or the practitioners of hegemony and arrogance
