Tourism Ministry Prepares a Study to Establish Hotel Management Company

DAMASCUS, (ST) – The Ministry of Tourism is preparing the necessary studies to establish a Syrian hotel management company according to international standards to take advantage of local and national expertise in the tourism sector and recruitment of human resources and scientific available potential in the country to achieve the highest rates of financial and social interest.

A source at the ministry said that the creation and establishment of such a company is positive and addresses some of the difficulties of the current crisis, where companies have global governance are subject to decisions of the policies of countries which belong to it and thus in such crisis in Syria, most of the global companies have stopped to deal with Syrian installations due to the unfair sanctions against Syria.

The ministry is currently managing most of its hotels by national efficient expertise and work to ensure supplies of industrial tourism and the needs of tourist installations such as services that elevate and promote such installations to the global level, whereas the hotels in cooperation and coordination with the ministry conduct to create alternative new investments to constitute additional revenue and interest on the facility.
