The city of Al-Harak, the town of Al-Soura and the village of Alama in Daraa eastern countryside on Monday joined the settlement agreement proposed by the Syrian state to enhance security and stability in Daraa province.
Concerned authorities in cooperation with the Syrian army units started settling the legal status of a number of gunmen, wanted persons and military service deserters from the Al-Harak city, Al-Soura town and Alama village.
The gunmen handed over their weapons to the Syrian army at a center opened in Al-Harak city within the framework of the state’s settlement’s efforts.
Over the past weeks, several towns and villages in Daraa province, where armed groups positioned, has joined the settlement agreement to restore normal life and witness the return of the state’s institutions.
