Syrian-Cuban talks to boost trade cooperation between the two countries

The Syrian Ambassador to Cuba, Dr. Idris Mayya, discussed with the President of the Cuban Chamber of Commerce, Antonio Caricart, ways to enhance trade relations between the two countries.

During a meeting between the two sides at the headquarters of the Cuban Chamber of Commerce in the capital Havana on Wednesday, Caricart underlined the need to develop economic relations and trade exchange between the two countries to rise to the level of their distinguished political relations.

For his part, Mayya pointed to the strong will of the two countries in terms of strengthening bilateral relations and cooperation, especially in light of the current circumstances which they are subjected to due to the  unjust siege imposed by the United States of America and its partners.
