With a capacity of 100 megawatts, a renewable energy company founded in the industrial city of Hasiya
Homs (ST): The Homs Chamber of Industry has announced the establishment of a renewable energy company in the industrial city of Hasiya, after it was incorporated in accordance with the provisions of the new Investment Law No. 18 of 2021.
The company aims to establish a power plant from renewable energies with a capacity of up to 100 megawatts, to be implemented in stages, in order to determine the percentage of each partner’s contribution, according to the Secretary of the Commercial Register in the Homs Chamber of Industry, Muwaffaq Al-Khayal, noting that the company’s center is in the industrial city of Hasiya, where it has received many facilities, including the land on which the company is to be established by the industrial city of Hasiya and the required area as needed and in stages, and the payment to the founders will be in stages according to the progress of project implementation.
Engineer Bassam Al-Saeed, head of the renewable energies committee in the chamber, explained that the founders are the Homs Chamber of Industry and a number of investors and factory owners in the industrial city of Hasiya, and they enjoy stimulating advantages, including customs exemptions for imports, machinery, equipment and production lines, in addition to a tax reduction of 50 percent from income tax for ten years for the project.
