The Syrian participation was represented by the artist Abeer Al-Assad, the cultural attaché at the Syrian Embassy in Warsaw, who presented 5 paintings, mostly about nature, in an impressionistic style.

Regarding her participation, she said in a statement to SANA, “This event is very important because of the artistic and diplomatic interaction it carries between the participating diplomatic artists on the one hand, and with the European public in general. The participation  enhances cooperation and civilized dialogue between the countries participating in the exhibition.”

The cultural attaché noted that the exhibition witnessed an important presence during the opening from all diplomatic missions operating in Poland. The diplomats who visited the exhibition welcomed Syria’s participation in it and expressed their admiration for the level of artworks it presented, which reflected the image of Syrian plastic art and culture in our country.
